The Specifics

Once a tamaiti is enrolled and confirmation of a start date is given, all booked sessions will be charged.
Two weeks notice is required if your tamaiti is leaving the centre. Fees are payable during this notice period.

Parents of 3,4 and 5 year olds can nominate up to 6 hours per day and up to 20 hours per week as Free Early Childhood Education available from the date the attestation form is signed. A new attestation form must be signed whenever a booking change is made.

The Work and Income childcare subsidy is a government funded subsidy that may assist with your childcare costs. It is an income tested subsidy with hours available determined by your work/study situation. Please contact 0800 559 009 to discuss your eligibility. If this subsidy is only part payment for fees the parent/guardian must meet the balance.

Invoices are issued weekly, and payment is due weekly. Automatic payment and internet banking are our preferred methods of payment.
Failure to keep fees up to date may result in a tamaiti enrolment being forfeited. All debt must be paid in full when a child leaves Geraldine Preschool as agreed to in the enrolment form. If debts have to be referred to a Debt Collecting Agency any debt collection costs will be your responsibility.

The centre is closed on all public holidays. Fees will not be charged for statutory holidays. Fees will not be charged if the centre is closed for a kaiako only day or over the Christmas period.

Fees will not be charged if the centre is closed due to a weather event or other events that do not allow us to safely open. Fees will not be charged if the centre is closed due to current Covid framework restrictions. Fees may be charged to tamariki attending the centre during Covid related restricted opening (i.e essential worker tamariki).
